Jim Brown

Jim Brown is a Los Angeles–based artist whose practice engages performance, sound, destruction, ritual, and the unpredictable intersections between art and lived experience. In 1998, while working as an art preparator at MOCA Los Angeles, he participated in the installation of the landmark performance-art exhibition Out of Actions, an experience that became formative to his artistic practice.
