About the event
In conjunction with the exhibition of her "Running and Returning 1, Ladder" (2024) at AMPHI, artist Cara Levine joins artist and curator Alan Chin and AMPHI founder Lu Chen for a conversation exploring artistic medium, memory, and collective healing. Levine will discuss her incorporation of weaving foil into her artistic practice, as well as her recent project “Bring Me Your Broken.” Together, the speakers will reflect on how their roles, as artist, curator, and gallerist, shape their responses to rebuilding collective memory and fostering community cohesion in the aftermath of the 2025 LA wildfires.
Cara Levine is an artist based in Los Angeles, CA. She earned a BFA from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, MI (2007) and an MFA from California College of the Arts in San Francisco, CA (2012).
